Blue Ridge Roofing & Home Improvement replaces windows and exterior doors on homes in Christiansburg, Blacksburg, and Radford. The work is meant to cut drafts and energy loss and to fit the openings you already have.
Winters in the New River Valley are cold, and summers are humid. Old single-pane or failed insulated glass shows up as drafts, condensation, and rooms that are hard to heat. We install ENERGY STAR certified windows, including double- and triple-pane units, in standard and custom sizes.
Window replacement can often be completed in 1–2 days. Someone needs to be home so we can get inside. We protect the openings, install the new units, and walk the house with you when we are done.
Yes. We replace exterior and patio doors as part of exterior remodeling, including doors that open onto a new deck.
We measure every opening and order standard or custom sizes to fit. We bring style options to the consultation so the new windows suit the house.
In Christiansburg, window replacement is common on subdivision houses with original insulated glass that has hazed or lost its seal, and on older homes closer to downtown. We measure the openings rather than assuming a stock size will fit.
Christiansburg →Blacksburg’s in-town houses often have older windows that were never a matched set. Replacement there is as much about fit and trim as it is about the glass package. We bring style options to the consultation so the new windows belong on the house.
Blacksburg →Radford’s older houses frequently still have windows that leak air at the sash. Replacing them is one of the more direct comfort upgrades on those homes. We are based in Radford, so the measure and the install are local visits.
Radford →Also serving Dublin and Pulaski, and other nearby New River Valley communities.
