Our story
From one truck to crews across the valley
Blue Ridge Roofing & Home Improvement was founded by Joseph Ashby in Floyd, Virginia, in 2007, after he spent years honing his craft alongside seasoned professionals. It started small: a small crew, a single truck, and a commitment to doing things the right way. Joseph grew the company through integrity, hard work, and word of mouth.
Today we work from our shop at 1105 West St, Radford, VA 24141 as a Class A licensed Virginia contractor and a BBB Accredited Business. From roof replacements and repairs to siding, windows, gutters, and decks, our work is defined by attention to detail, durable materials, and results that still perform years later.
Joseph hand-selects the people on our crews: professionals who match his expertise and share his commitment to doing the job right. We respect your schedule and budget, communicate clearly, and treat every home as if it were our own.

“I have used Blue Ridge Roofing for 3 separate jobs now. They replaced our roof, a 64' long gutter with leaf guard, and also performed a very substantial deck repair. The work has been very prompt and high quality.”
“I needed a roof repaired and the job was completed quickly and well done. I was concerned about debris because of my animals and they went over the area several times cleaning up.”
“Excellent price. Professional workmanship, superior materials. Great to work with, handled all of our questions and concerns. Like family.”
